If you have been on this website and others like it you would have seen a plethora of different diets and secret potions and pills. They all claim to offer the magic solution to your weight loss problem in the shortest amount of time. I have gone through all the diet articles on this site and scraped anything that promises quick results with little effort. Trust me, losing weight for the long term takes time and with anything worthwhile it requires a certain amount of effort
One thing that has always rung alarm bells for me is Diets that offer big results, quickly. This no doubt will entail a radical change in your diet that is probably gone to leave you starving and will not be sustainable over a long period of time.
There are exceptions to this rule, I have had success with one such diet, but you have to ask yourself the most important question in dieting. “Can I sustain this change over a long period of time”. For copyright reasons I will not divulge the full diet that I did find success quickly, however what I can say is it entailed eating only protein on certain days and sticking to a low carb (not no carb) healthy diet on other days. For me I could not sustain it over the long and the pounds soon returned.
Most of the Diet articles I have left on this site promote simple clean eating such as the paleo diet. Any diet that includes good sized portions of wholesome healthy food is going to help you lose weight. These diets are sustainable because you feel full and after only a short period you will start to feel fantastic as these foods take effect on your whole body.
Will a good wholesome diet help me achieve a flat belly? Absolutely, but it has to in conjunction with a good exercise plan. A great diet will help you lose the weight but the exercise is where the final sculpting comes in to achieve that perfect six pack. There are plenty of articles on this site showing great exercises for a flat belly, and we are adding new ones regularly.
I will go into more detail in future articles about my personal opinion of what I believe is a good diet and please feel free to comment or add your stories of what you believe is a great diet for a flat belly. Look forward to seeing your comments.
