Question by his best girl: confused about weight loss?
I started to work out and eat smaller portions back in October, lost 12 pounds right away and a lot of inches. I’ve amped up the weight training and my body has completely changed, really toned and tight except the belly area. I haven’t lost any pounds since Feb. though. I need to lose 15- 20 more pounds to reach my goal. What’s the problem?

Most people experience a plateau, so you’re not alone. It’s because your body adapts to what you’re doing. You need to change your workout routine, make it more intense, and possibly change your diet. Try to eliminate sugar and simple carbs, and eat nothing in the evenings after dinner. Also, be sure you’re drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day.
