There is no one exercise to ensure a flat belly. If you are serious about that end goal then you must do several different kinds of exercise on different days of the week to achieve the look you are after.
We are going to focus on two main forms of exercise which are Strength Training and Cardio Training.
Strength training is a type of exercise where you use resistance to induce muscular contraction, for everyone after a flat belly these exercises will be mainly focused on the abdominal muscles. There are a myriad of ab exercises and ab workout machines on the market. For me I rely on three different types of ab exercises which are
- Russian Twists:
For cardio training the number one exercise is running. You heart will be elevated, your core will be engaged and you will be losing weight. We have a separate category specifically on running which I will add to on a regular basis. If you cannot run, then cycling is the next best thing whether it be on a stationary bike or outside. Cross Country Mountain biking is brilliant as this will give your core and legs a complete workout.
